Joe Brancatelli THE VOICE OF BUSINESS TRAVEL
JoeSentMe members love him. Mainstream-media reporters revere him. Big airline executives? Not much love, but lots of respect--and a little fear. Why? Because Joe Brancatelli is the voice of the American business traveler. Anxious to read one of his columns? Want to see what members and the media have to say about Joe?

JOE'S PHILOSOPHY OF 'NO'
Joe never wanted to start a Web site. But since the commercial sites turned their metaphoric backs on business travelers after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Joe vowed to create a Web site that was beholden to no one but business travelers. So he launched JoeSentMe.com. And what JoeSentMe doesn't do is as important as what it does do. Read the whole story.

READ JOE'S COLUMNS
Joe is one-of-a-kind and his weekly columns prove it. He writes with lots of style, passion, self-deprecating wit and unique insight. Read one of his columns--we've selected three for your reading pleasure--and you’ll see why Joe is regarded as the leading business-travel writer in America.

  • THE NATURE OF AIRLINE THINGS -- Airlines are dying. And Joe's cool with that. It's called the circle of life or the nature of things or the business cycle. Don't be afraid, fellow travelers. The only thing we have to fear is the government getting in the way of the natural order of business and "saving" airlines with taxpayer-funded bailouts and hasty approvals of unnecessary mergers. (Originally published in April, 2008)

  • A WATERY GRAVE FOR HOTEL TUBS -- With only two percent of its visitors using the bathtubs in their guestrooms, hotels are beginning to rip out tubs and replace them with more spacious, more appealing shower stalls. That's good news for shower guys like Joe, but may be very disconcerting for the hardy minority who still prefer a good soak on the road. (Originally published in October 2007.)
